Fit Biz Retreat is the brainchild of Lauren George and Mariah Secrest-Comer, who share the intent of closing the gap between fitness expertise and business expertise for solo instructors and independent fitness businesses. Lauren brings her established history in the industry as the creator of Pulse Point Barre, Co-Creator of Barre Above, and adjunct faculty at Clemson University. She is known for her signature Musicality Method and has an extensive background presenting as a featured speaker at fitness conferences. Mariah blends her background in business and program development with her love of the wellness industry, which has included launching the latest evolution of Deepak Chopra’s Ayurvedic retreats at CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa, opening and managing both independent as well as franchise studio locations, and 6+ years running her own virtual wellness brand.
